StereoTest generates test tones in your browser. The tools do not request microphone access, record sound, upload audio, require registration, or store test results in a database.

Technical information

Like most websites, the hosting provider may process standard request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for delivery, security, and reliability. StereoTest does not use that information to create an audio or hearing profile.

Local state

Current control settings and quiz progress are held in browser memory while a page is open. Reloading the page normally clears them. The MVP does not use accounts or persistent test histories.

Pages may link to other sections of StereoTest. If external resources are added later, their privacy practices will be governed by their own policies. This notice may be updated when site features or hosting practices change.
